Description
This is a very rare and classic piece, certainly not the winner of a beauty contest, but with a great provenance. Two rare mineral species, both of the TYPE LOCALITY (!) on ONE specimen! Epididymite as whitish crystal clusters with a vitreous luster are almost 1 cm in size, while Elpidite as light brick-red aggregates. This very difficult to get specimen has great recorded history! It is from the collection of Erberto Tealdi who traded it with the Copenhagen Museum on August 21, 1979. Both labels come with the specimen.
