Description
This is a relatively rare locality piece from the Bollnbach Mine, an old Iron mine that was closed way back in 1927. It was the locality for the famous Siderit-“Blätterspat” (Siderite foliated spar), and a glance at this specimen makes it pretty obvious: Quite large, brown, foliated Siderite crystals up to over 1 cm making up an impressive specimen; very aesthetic and almost perfect. Very rare material, formerly housed in the Dr. Manfred Schönfelder collection, and now it can be yours.
