Description
A uniquely aesthetic hemispherical spray of Epistilbite with 2.1 cm tall crystals fills a vug in volcanic rock. The white to pale color of the crystals with excellent terminations creates a striking contrast to the enclosing basalt matrix and the pale green of the Seladonite rim. Epistilbite is a rare member of the Zeolite family, and this particular specimen is from the Dekkan Trap basalts of Jalgoan in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
