This is a great classic specimen from the late 1990s from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Up to 1.1 cm in size, almost perfect and deep red octahedral Cuprite and modified octahedrons with a vitreous luster on/in a matrix of mint colored Chrysocolla. A truly exceptional color combination, full of contrast!
