Description

A miniature-sized specimen with lightly curved olive-beige Siderite rhomboherdons up to 1.7 cm. The crystals are nicely sharp with a top adamantine luster. A classic piece from the ancient Iron and Manganese mining area Hüttenberg Erzberg (German “Erzberg” = ore mountain) where synsedimentary Siderite ores were mined until mining stopped in 1978 and the mine was converted into a tourist mine.
