Description
This is a relatively well crystallized, lustrous, almost 5 cm tall Magnetite octahedron from the Lobaye Magnetite occurrence in the Central African Republic. In the mid-1990s these sharp but often surface-pitted Magnetite crystals associated with Limonite appeared on the market. A very typical example for the locality!
