Description
This is a classic combination from the Hardangervidda area with a four-millimeter large Anatase perched on a slightly smoky but clear Quartz crystal. The Anatase crystal has a metallic luster, it is blue and translucent and shows typical striations on the octahedral faces. The Quartz crystal is sharp and unusual gemmy. The display side of the specimen is pristine while the back shows contact. A beautiful piece from a locality which is ca. 100 km northwest of Bergen, a city on Norway’s southwestern coast.
