Description
A typically specimen of Goethite pseudomorph after Marcasite. This definitely is a floater, it is pristine all around with very minor imperfections on the bottom. A very aesthetic and sculptural specimen with a matt metallic luster from the White Desert in the Lybian Desert of Western Egypt. This locality has been known for a number of years for its pseudomorph which occur in the Cretaceous Khoman Chalk, from which the White Desert derives its name.
