Description
A beautiful, 1,2 cm spherical spray of gemmy royal blue Pentagonite crystals perched on Stilbite matrix from the famous Wagholi Quarry of Pune in India. The single crystals are well formed, sharp edged and gemmy. Pentagonite is the much more rare cousin of Cavansite, technically a "dimorph" which means that it is the same chemistry but a different crystal habit, and therefore a different species. And this is a good sample of such a rare species.
