Description
This is a super old-timed specimen of EXTREMELY RARE cadmium carbonate Otavite, typically accompanied by less blue-green Rosasite. Here you see glistening cream-white microcrystals richly covering the slightly Smithsonite bearing matrix and is typically accompanied by green Rosasite. Otavite was firstly discovered at Tsumeb by Otto Schneider in 1906 and named after the Otavi Highlands. This is a super piece as rich as possible and analyzed as well. From the TYPE LOCALITY !!!
