Description
Quartz Gwindel is something every alpine collector wants to have in the collection. Even more so when the Gwindel is Smoky Quartz, and when the specimen is larger than a miniature you have a winner. Well … Take a look at that excellent, almost 9 cm measuring Quartz Gwindel from the Swiss Göschenenalp. Slightly chloritized, with a faint smoky hue, half closed with a good visible twist. A gemmy translucent small cabinet specimen with a spot on the right side with a healed/recrystallized face, and on the bottom left the piece was in contact with the matrix. A unique specimen that is much better in person.
