Description
A specimen with sharp, fan-like sprays of olive-black Epidote crystal aggregates on an Adularia matrix. The Epidote is pristine with a top vitreous luster and perfect terminations. The Adularia matrix consists of translucent, tabular crystals with a vitreous luster. This incredible specimen with very high contrast and aesthetic appeal is from the alpine clefts of the gneiss and mica schist deposits of the Dora Maira Massif in Italy.
