Description
This is a beautiful, polished Amethyst section with deep purple color. A white outline seperates the first Amethyst generation from the second one. The color of the second generation changes from purple to gray and finally to white towards the termination. The surface is covered in small “Eisenkiesel” crystals, Quartz stained by Iron inclusions. A very colorful and dramatic specimen. Rare material from Drebach in Saxon Ore Mountains, where Lead and Silver ores were mined from the 16th century until 1880.
