Description
The Hunazala Mine in the Peruvian Andes is renowned for its superb Pyrite specimens and this is a classic example that simply stuns the viewer with shape and geometry. These perfect modified Pyritohedrons to 2.7 cm large, with an in-your-face presentation that really draws the eye to the complex curved crystal faces with a bright, brassy yellow color and screaming metallic luster. The crystals have super sharp edges and excellently striated crystal faces. This remarkably beautiful Pyrite specimen with a little contact on the periphery is from older finds.
