Description
Actually, the Campolungo´s Tremolite isn´t something that particularly impresses me, but this is a quite outstanding piece with exceptionally great aesthetics. Numerous creamy-white sprays of acicular Tremolite that have grown together form a highly aesthetic, sculptural object. Campolungo in the upper reaches of the Piumogna valley, is a classic alpine deposit, especially since 1813, when Corundum was discovered. Furthermore, Campolungo is the TYPE LOCALITY for Tremolite.
