Description
This is a fairly rare locality piece from the French Allos Pass (Col d”Allos) near the town of Barcelonnette. A Quartz floater, pristine all around, a 360° piece with striated prism faces and a vitreous luster. The translucent crystal is adorned with smaller prismatic, transparent Quartz crystals. As I said before, a rare piece, unique, and not readily available on the market. The Col d´Allos is a high mountain pass with an altitude of 2,250 meters in the French Alps in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence near the Italian border.
