Description
A star-shaped six-sided Hydrocerussite and several smaller examples of the species from the Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. They Hydrocerussite crystals have a very attractive silky luster with only very minor imperfections. The crystals of the not very common species are perched on green Mottramite micro crystals with a greasy luster, creating a very good contrast. This habit of Hydricereussite is elsewhere described a pseudomorph after twinned Cerussite. This very aesthetic specimen is from the Robert Jakob collection.
