Description
A really old specimen from the 19th century with the original handwritten German label (and more modern collection numbers) glued to the back. The specimen with numerous lead gray Galena crystals, sharp and with a beautiful metallic luster, associated with white, slightly tabular Calcite rhombohedrons, and slightly smaller highly lustrous black Sphalerite crystals. That is extremely rare material, practically not offered on the market from an area west of Clermont-Ferrand in the Massif Central next to the volcanic Chaîne des Puys Mountains.
