Description
A specimen with Hematite on a Quartz matrix from an Alsatian quartz vein zone which is known for excellent and large tabular hematite crystals. Well-developed and, for the locality, large, tabular Hematite crystals with a strong metallic luster in vugs in a Quartz matrix. The crystals in the main vug are pristine. Crystals of that size were rather rare. Very aesthetic for the location.
