Large and heavy piece, consists almost entirely of crystallized Cerussite with tabular, sharp crystals, beautiful satin luster, from an abandoned lead mine, which worked Siderite-Quartz veins bearing Zinc-Lead-Copper-Silver minerals until its closure in 1913. Old specimens from the Friedrichsegen Mine on the slopes above the river Lahn like this one, with a historical German label, are hard to come by and collectible on so many levels.
