Description
The alpine locality of Göscheneralp, high up in the mountains of the Swiss canton Uri, is probably by far the best-known mineral locality in the Swiss Alps. For centuries, excellent specimens of Smoky Quartz and pink Fluorite have been found here, and the pieces adorn numerous top mineral collections of the world. And here we have a very nice miniature with very well crystallized prismatic crystals, sharp edges and an attractive smoky brown color. The transparency is excellent and the main crystal is absolutely intact. A stunning Swiss classic!
