A colorful, high-contrast and unusual specimen. Cauliflower-like Pyrite-Calcite clusters cover pink-colored Cobalt-bearing Calcite. The sharp and lustrous Pyrite crystals are brass-colored with a little tarnish while the Calcite crystals are sharp and lustrous. The locality for this aesthetic specimen with only very few imperfections is the Cobalt and Nickel mine Aghbar in the Moroccan Bou Azzer mining district. And wait what happens when you turn on the long-wave ultraviolet light!
