Description
This is an incredible Smoky Quartz specimen on granitic matrix from huge alpine cleft system ca. 2,650 m (ca. 8,700 feet) above sea level, which was discovered in the mid 1960s by Swiss "Strahler" Ernst Rufibach. An this specimen is a characteristic and very aesthetic representative of this cleft. Incredible translucent Quartz crystal cluster with a smoky brown hue, sharp edges and a perfect termination on the main crystal. These pieces are now considered classics.
