Description
A rare combination specimen from a vein in the Arabia Mine, an occurence in the Lead-Zinc deposits of Peru´s Pachapaqui mining district. Beige colored, sharp, translucent Axinite-Mn crystals with a vitreous luster, and black Sphalerite crustals are perched on pink Rhodonite. despite the fact that this is a typical paragenesis for this mine, specimens with that combination are very hard to find. The specimen is from the collection of Dr. Schönfelder.
