Description

This is a fine and aesthetic, old-time Sphalerite specimen from well known German locality Lüderich Mine near Bensberg, ca. 15 km E of Cologne. The crystals here are multifaced and sharp edged with great luster and an intense brown colour due to the lack of iron. A superb specimen from this classic mine which was defunct on October 31, 1978.
