Here we see a great Italian Alpine classic! This miniature hosts several, rich brown, highly lustrous, gemmy, sparkling, dodechedra (with minor trapezohedral modifying faces) of Grossular superbly scattered over the matrix. The Gava valley area of Voltri in Liguria is famous for these Grossular pieces and this are excellent quality crystals from this locality.
