Description
This is a beautiful Vanadinite from Touissit in Morocco. For all the world, these Vanadinites look like fine Pyromorphites, and for many years they got away with this masquerade in marketing them in the late 1960s and 1970s when they came out before the red ones for which Morocco is now famous. Now we know better. This is a cluster on matrix of big, fat crystals to 1,5 cm with typically six-sided habit and beige colour, characteristic for these. This a terrific specimen, well above average for the location and style. Much better in person!!!
