Here we have a wonderful small cabinet sized Malachite specimen with two fibrous, intense green sprays set in gossan matrix as an exceptional piece from from Germany´s ancient mining district in Siegerland. The elongated primary crystals of Malachite, which reach up to 2,0 cm individually, have an adamantine luster that is nothing short of fantastic, and a deep forest green colour that complements the luster perfectly. These crystals are not large by worldwide standards, but they are stunning by the standards of old German Malachites, and important for the location and the style. Definitely a superb specimen with outstanding aesthetics and integrity. Such items in this specific quality are exceedingly rare and hard to find for sale on the mineral market,-especially in an auction.
