Description
A superb small miniature sized specimen of well terminated, clear violet coloured Scapolite and it is NOT FROM AFGHANISTAN. It comes from Morogoro of Tanzania. The crystal itself is excellent developed with several gemmy parts and it is complete all around. The backside seems to be rehealed, because there are microfaces of crystals. The luster is excellent and the vertical striation superb. In any case a stunning crystal in splendid condition. Only minor imperfection.
