Description
Here we have a very uncommon and unusual specimen from Davib Ost Farm of Erongo mountains. A relatively large cluster of slightly bladed but razor sharp and mirror bright Cassiterite crystals, is nicely perched on a distinctively deformed, but sharp edged Smoky Quartz crytal to 8,2 cm in lenght. The Smokies here feature fine satin luster and horizontal straition. The specimen is accented by jet black Schorl crystals, hard to see on the pics due to lack of contrast. In any case a super locality piece, rarely seen for sale on the mineral market.
