Description
Two clusters of satiny lustered, translucent spheres of Prehnite to 2 cm across, are perched nicely on a matrix of lustrous blackish green Epidote crystals, to 4,2 cm in length. The piece is pristine and complete, with NO repairs along the display face. It has Prehnite balls of a pure apple-green hue, without the usual brown which stains to some degree over 95% of Prehnites from here. The Epidote is doubly-terminated, as well. This fine Prehnite specimen from this particular recent find and source is MUCH better than previous lots for the locale for colour, translucency, and form. There are less white coatings, which can easily be removed. This would improve the piece additionally.
