Description
Here we have a fine off-matrix thumbnail specimen. An excellent octahedral crystal, measuring 1,6 cm in diameter from well known Swiss locale Wanni Glacier-Monte Cervandone of Binntal in Valais canton. Cafarsite is a very rare, hydrated arsenite and this very fine, sharp crystal is from the TYPE LOCALITY area in the Binn Valley. This is an excellent example of species, large and very lustrous compared to most. Cafarsite was not recognized until 1966. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON
