Description
Here we see an excellent group of relatively acicular shaped Quartz crystals as so-called Nadelquarz, up to over 2 cm in length with a golden hue,- probably a coating of iron oxides. The majority of the crystals are pristine with excellent luster and super terminations. Just in the very periphery I see very little imperfection. Almost every specimen I´ve seen from this locale is so clean white, so this truly stands out from the rest with the slightly golden colour. A super specimen for highest alpine standards. Such material was always hard to come by and expensive as well, but nowadays, the good ones more and more disappear from the market. And this is a real good one from the cherry-picked collection of Joachim Hennrich.
