Description
This is an uncommon Norwegian specimen with several, partly multifaced, dark brown crystals of Yttrium-bearing Titanite on matrix from the well known Lindvikskollen Titanite Occurrence of Kragerø. This is a small prospect close to Lindvikskollen Quarry, worked in a pegmatite body. The locality is known for producing small Y-rich Titanite crystals. Locality not to be confused by the Sjåen feldspar Mine further West. This is rare stuff, practiclly not to be seen for sale on the mineral market.
