Description
The Namibian locale Otjizonjati Mine of Okamuwa Farm 144 is a relatively unknown Mine in the neighbourhood of Onganja and material from here is exceedingly seldom seen for sale. And here we have a superb miniature sized specimen covered with multifaced Cuprite crystals. They are sharp edged, rich of faces and accompanied by tiny, glassy Calcite rhombs. The luster of the Cuprite is very good, the crystals are undamaged so far I can see and they have a fine red hinted colour. This piece is not rare due to the species,- it is rare because of the uncommon locality.
