Description
Here we have superb specimen with a wide opened vug, richly lined with brassy Pyrite and grainy Tetradymite, the last species especially at the periphery of the vug. Tetradymite is an uncommon bismuth, tellurium sulfosalt and this fine specimen is richly covered with tiny bright, tin-white grainy microcrystals mostly embedded in a quartz matrix. This is classic, old-time material from the historic and TYPE LOCALITY Župkov of Banská Bystrica in Slovakia . Accompanied by an expertly handwritten label from an older collection. NOTE: The brassy crystals are Pyrite and not Tetradymite
