Description
Here we have an almost botryoidal clsu8ter, consisting of nearly pure crystallized Azurite. Definitely a classic, OLD-TIME specimen of multi-shaded blue Azurite blades and rosettes from Chessy near Lyon in France. This is a showy, complex piece with some of the Azurite blades and rosettes having high luster. Nearly complete, with only a couple of points of attachment. The ancient Chessy mines were closed by the ending of the 19th century and this is a fine example of a classic form and species.
