Description

A fine and rich specimen of gemmy and lustrous, olive-green Andradite variety Demantoid garnets aesthetically scattered on starkly contrasting fibrous serpentinite matrix from a classic Italian locality - the Val Malenco (Malenco Valley) of Lombardy. The larger, compound cluster at the edge is 0,7 cm. Excellent material from this well-known locality. Backside is sawn.
