Description
Here we see superbly defined, olive-black crystals of Andradite garnets, accompanied by smaller, glassy and partly gemmy crystals of olive-green "brothers". The Andradite crystals here are very sharp edged with great luster and so far I can see (to the naked eye), only minor edge wear. But this specimen is not from Pakistan, Afghanistan or China. It is a CLASSIC NORWEGIAN piece, in splended and fresh condition. I think it is almost impossible to get hold of such a fine and also rare Scandinavian specimen nowadays.
