Description
A sliver of matrix hosts these dramatic, almost pristine, intergrown crystals of translucent, deep magenta-coloured Erythrite, to 2 cm in length. They have a great luster to them. Since Erythrite is such a soft mineral, very minor bruising can be expected and yet this is a competition quality miniature that has been brought out without the usual damage which most specimens from these recent finds (sporadic pockets over 2010-13) had. The brilliant luster and rich colour are just outstanding. The quality and dramatic structure of this piece really make it stand out.
