Description
Here is another specimen from the Afghani Sar-e-Sang deposit: A bright green Pargasite aggregate of almost 2 cm on white marble. Pargasite, a member of the extensive Amphibole group is more of a rock-forming mineral than a collectors specimen. So it is exciting to look at this partly gemmy-translucent Pargasite with a great vitreous luster. Good color, great contrast and just beautiful!
