Description

A cluster of spherical, apple green Prehnite clusters up to 2.5 cm in diameter with a strong silky luster perched on a small piece of matrix. This is a historic specimen that was discovered when in the 1800s a railroad tunnel east of Bishopton, now a suburb of Glasgow. This is a great Scottish classic, and from workings which are also the type locality for the species Greenockite.
