Description
This is a very nice Native Arsenic specimen with anthracite-colored concentric layers of Arsenic forming a botryoidal habit (think onion rings). These crystallization forms were called by the old miners “Scherenkobalt”, a term that is impossible to meaningfully translate. Tiny Proustite crystals hide in small vugs and cavities. A good classic from Jachymov in the Czech Republic!
