Description
This is a little over 6 cm wide flesh-colored Barite doted with Proustite clusters with the tallest one measuring almost 1 cm. These have a dark red color with hints of translucency and a great metallic luster. The specimen is from the Sophia Mine west of Wittichen, well known for Silver specimens. However, good Proustite from Wittichen is significantly rarer than Silver specimens from there - and trust me, this is a good specimen!
