Description
This is s colorful specimen, abundantly covered with egg yolk-yellow-orange Wulfenite crystals up to 0.7 cm. These are sharp-edged with a high adamantine luster. The display side of this very good classic is almost perfect. The specimen is from the Carinthian Helena Mine where Austrian Freiherr Franz Xaver von Wulfen, described Wulfenite (which was later named for him) in his “Treateses on Carinthin Lead Spar (“Abhandlung vom kärnthnerischen Bleyspate”)
