Description
This is specimen abundantly covered with the rare Manganese-Aluminum-Magnesium-Arsenic silicate Ardennite-(As). Sprays with long-prismatic, honey-yellow crystals up to 1.3 cm are perched on massive milky Quartz. The clusters have a glassy, not quite adamantine luster. What makes this piece special is that it comes from the type locality for the species: North of the town of Salmchâteau on the River Salm, Belgium.
