Description
This is a very excellent Ruby specimen from the classic Sivec Marble Quarries in North Macedonia, a landlocked country of the south-central Balkans. The slightly distorted pink-colored Corundum-Ruby crystals to 1 cm have a resinous luster and glow brightly under ultraviolet light. This is a rare piece, especially as matrix specimen and in this quality are very coveted.
