Description

This is an excellent Susa Valley Hessonite specimen with orange-brown stacked crystal clusters up to 0.7 cm. The crystals display a variety of habits of the isometric system, they are gemmy translucent with a vitreous luster. This is not only a great specimen for the locality, the Italian Susa Valley, but also a great and very good typical example for the Garnet species.
