Description
This is a small cabinet-sized matrix specimen with hemispherical, brick-red Heulandite crystal aggregates up to 1.4 cm in diameter. A very characteristic specimen and typical for the Italian Fassa Valley in the Dolomite Mountains, which has been studied for contact metamorphic mineral assemblages for two centuries.
