Description
This is a comparatively huge piece for the alpine locality Bellocombe in the Italian Aoste Valley. A beautiful and striking cluster of super-lustrous and gemmy, short prismatic, root beer-colored Vesuvianite crystals to 2.2 cm. They display excellent striation on the prism faces, incredible luster, super flat terminations and hardly any damage. This incredible specimen was pried from the host rock, hence it has contact on the back. A TOP aesthetic specimen from a classic Italian alpine locality.
